Sledding Time!

Aunt Belinda took the boys outside for a little sledding in the front yard. It was Austin's first time in full snow gear, so he had some trouble moving around. He also really wanted to walk in the snow, but his snow boots were a little big. Thanks to Belinda for taking the kids out! They had a great time. Dylan still talks about his "snow walk" with his Aunt Belinda.

Skiing with Aunt Belinda!

Aunt Belinda came for a visit from Virginia this week. She and I had a great time skiing two days at Brighton Ski Resort. Unfortunately Mike was unable to join us due to a sprained ankle. He offered to watch the kids so we could enjoy the slopes! The ski conditions were awesome and I actually skied much better this time. Belinda was in snow heaven and loved every minute on the slopes!

Mike's Birthday

This year we celebrated Mike's birthday by going out to a nice brunch at Mimi's Cafe and eating cake and opening presents at home. We haven't all eaten at a full service restaurant for a few months since Dylan has been hard to manage once he outgrew the high chairs. This time, he was perfectly behaved and sat quietly eating in his booster seat the entire meal! Austin was great and just loved looking around and taking in all the sights and sounds. He is not squirmy in his chair and is happy as long as he is eating or playing with a spoon.

Mike loved his special order cake and Dylan couldn't wait to help blow out the candles. By the way, the little golf cart is pretty cool. It can be self-propelled and actually rolls quite fast on our tile floor.

Let's Play Dress-up!

Mike rarely wears his dress uniform home, so Dylan pounced at the chance to play dress-up. We helped Austin join in too! It is so cute to see kids wearing a Navy hat! I remember wearing my Dad's too.
